MTV Movie Awards 2011

Monday, June 06, 2011
It was a night full of shocks and surprises as Justin Timberlake grabbed Mila Kunis's boobs and R-Patz dropped the F-word, but who shocked and surprised us in the style stakes. Here's The Dressing Room's low down on fashion at this year's MTV Movie Awards.

Amanda Bynes
Oh dear! Someone clearly got dressed in the dark! Firstly Amanda, nothing you're wearing matches, and secondly those heels have already been worn by Kim and Kourtney Kardashian and quite frankly they looked a lot better.

Blake Lively
Blake Lively opted to cover up in a fitted royal blue dress teamed with purple heels, which is perhaps not surprising considering the nude photo scandal as of late. Nevertheless she looks flawless and could teach Amanda Bynes a thing or two on how to make not matching work.

Brooklyn Decker
Brooklyn's attempt to dazzle in gold doesn't pay off I'm afraid, in fact she ends up looking more frumpy than fabulous.

Cameron Diaz
Diaz shows us all how to be boring and blend in with the crowd in this plain outfit. Yes she looks pretty and whilst there is nothing wrong with the outfit it simply just doesn't make an impression.

Emma Stone
Newly red head Emma Stone looks fabulous in this quirky frock. Overall I give her outfit a big thumbs up, her hair and dress look gorgeous, nevertheless I think she could have chosen better accsessories; the orange shoes and clutch bag distract from the dress.

Emma Watson
Proving why she is regarded as one of the most fashionable women on the planet Emma Watson looks elegant and immaculate in this white and silver ensemble. As ever the fashionista is bang on trend as white is a big hit at the moment.

Hailee Steinfeld
It's hard to believe that Hailee Steinfeld is merely 14-years-old, especially in this black number. I wish she would have played with her youth a bit more and wore something more exciting. Recently revealed as the new face of Mui Mui I think it would have been more appropriate if she had worn something from their collection.

Jessica Szohr
Somebody call the fashion police immediately and ask them what on earth Jessica Szohr is playing at; this black and white jumpsuit is certainly not appropriate for a red carpet event.

Kristen Stewart
I've never been the greatest fan of Kristen Stewart's dress sense but I'm pleased to admit that I think she got this outfit spot on. She took a risk by wearing an edgy rock'n'roll red leather dress and it so paid off.

Leighton Meester
My favourite outfit of the night, the Gossip Girl star manages to look glam yet relaxed and laid-back in this sparkly number - 10 out of 10.

Lil Mama
I think Lil Mama stole one of Nicki Minaj's wigs and a pair of Lady Gaga's shoes and therefore despite the wacky choices she doesn't look original. I do however love the sparkly black dress.

Nicki Minaj
Despite the fact that the Moment 4 Life star clearly forgot to put a top on I love the overall effect of this outfit and the look she was going for, plus the shoes are to die for!

Nikki Reed
Thank you Nikki Reed for once again proving The Dressing Room right - sheer maxi dresses are a hit this season! Reed shows Cameron Diaz how to wear black without being completely boring.

Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon looks pretty in a leopard print style dress and nude heels. Whilst I'm not head over heels for her outfit there's nothing I dislike about it either.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Showing why she was recently voted sexiest woman the British Victoria Secret's model looks flawless. Her shoes and clutch bag are the perfect accessories.

Selena Gomez
Bieber's bird looks classy and elegant in an embroidered crop top and mini skirt. However the outfit does remind me of something worn at a wedding.

Skylar Grey
Fancy dresses and high heels may not be your thing Skylar Grey and there's nothing wrong with that but you could have at least cleaned your boots.
